Meet Dr Kania
Dr. Michael Kania is a native of Lynchburg, Virginia. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He attended Dental School at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Following the completion of his dental training, which included a one-year post-doctoral residency in general dentistry, Dr. Kania joined the Dental School faculty in the department of Prosthodontics. In 1989, he left UNC to pursue a degree in Orthodontics at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Upon completion of his orthodontic residency, Dr. Kania returned to North Carolina to begin his practice. He and his wife Stephanie moved to Asheboro in 1991. Since that time, they have been blessed with two beautiful children. Cameron was born in 1993 and his little brother Chandler arrived 18 months later.
